About Us
We are TIKVAH CHADASHA UGANDA, advocates for disabled children and impoverished women in Eastern Uganda. As a Jewish organization, we learn from the Rambam that the highest form of charity is to give someone a livelihood. Donations are your investments in what our beneficiaries can do for themselves.
We host community volunteer days at schools that serve disabled children as well as provide auxiliary support to the schools and for individual disabled students. Our team creates chicken farms for women who otherwise work as day labor in the vegetable fields for less than $2 per day.

Our farms teach the valuable lessons of discipline, patience and consistency. Our farms are environmentally friendly, using rainwater and solar power to operate. All of our farms will always be cage-free.

For most in Uganda, disability is a life sentence to poverty. With your help, it no longer has to be.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
We. See. Her.
The moms in our village not able to buy enough food, the girl staying home for lack of hygiene products, the unschooled teen playing with rocks.

We know that she can help herself if given the opportunity. We know that it's our duty to pay our blessings forward.
Our Vision
We start our work from a foundation of humility and service to our beneficiaries. Our work empowers our beneficiaries and gives directly to their abilities.

Our friends and partners put their Jewish values of kindness and justice to work in the world. Our beneficiaries are able to improve life for their entire family in dignity and independence.
